About Us
All-Pro Collision Repair is owned by Bill Romaniello, a General Motors Certified Master Technician, ASE Certified, I-Car Trained, and AMI Accredited.  He is the Legislative Director for the Auto Body Association of Connecticut, of which we are a proud supporter.  He is also a Connecticut licensed Motor Vehicle Property Damage Appraiser.

In the office is Bonnie Coon handling all the paperwork.  She has over 20 years experience in working with the insurance companies, is a Notary Public and Connecticut licensed Motor Vehicle Property Damage Appraiser.

All-Pro Collision Repair is Southington's Finest Auto Body repair facility.  We provide you with the best customer service experience, especially when dealing with insurers and other responsible parties that are paying to perform body repairs on your vehicle.  We are not your average body and paint shop.  We have over 150 years combined experience in automotive body repair, collision damage repair, custom body work, restorations and custom paint.

Body repair is our passion and that is what we do best!

Company history
We are conveniently located in the Village of Plantsville at the corner of South Main and Crescent Streets - the former D&D Automotive building - and yes...Gene's still here.

Our shop is Southington's largest repair facility; an awesome 6,500 square feet.  Recently renovated to include a 3-dimensional measuring system, expert computerized color matching, and Future Cure spray booth to bake that perfect finish.

So, why SHOULD you choose us rather than the repair shop your insurance company recommended?

A little information about the insurance company's "Preferred Repair" shop

As reported in the CCRE Collision News Bulletin for February – March 2009:

(Discussion regarding the legitimacy of Direct Repair Programs (DRPs))

.... Examination of an existing shop-insurer DRP agreement seems to say it best concerning DRP relationships in general... "This Program is based on a relationship of trust that the repairer will act in the best interest of the insurer".  "Where does the consumer fit into the DRP picture?"  CCRE yet stands opposed to any DRP agreement, all which make the repair expert subservient to the whims of insurers, and generally co-conspirator in shortchanging the consumer.

Most auto body repair shops throw together a quick body repair estimate hoping their estimate is the lowest, then when you drop off your car the surprises begin.  At All-Pro Collision Repair your family's safety is our number one concern, and price is secondary. We prepare a thorough blueprint of repair, and this is what you are entitled to! Insurers will baulk, side step, deny, and even cut their estimate in hopes you will just shop around and find someone to fix it for their price. They also hope you will cash out and not even get your vehicle fixed. Statistically, Insurance estimates are 50-100% of the true cost of repairs!

When you call your insurance company (or the company of the person who hit you) to file your claim, you may be pressured into taking your car to one of their "preferred shops".  You will be told "well, if you take your vehicle to our shop, there won't be any delays in repairing it.  If you take it to any other shop, we may not be able to get there for a few days.  You may be charged storage until we get there."  These are scare tactics to get you to take your vehicle to their shop so they can control the cost of repairs and the actual repairs to your vehicle.
