According to the "deal", you may receive cheap imitation or junkyard parts regardless of your actual repair requirements. Most "secret deals" include pre-set costs well below fair-market value. How can an insurance company decide how much it should cost to fix your car before an accident? Why would a shop lose money to fix your car? These are tough questions!
